Higher Education Programme

Programme objectives

  • To link higher education (HE) institutions in the participating countries, private as well as public HE institutions offering recognised tertiary level qualifications, establishing networks for exchanging and disseminating experiences, best practices and innovative results.
  • To contribute to cooperation between higher education institutions and other institutions or organisations involved with, working in or having vested interests in the area of higher education.


Target groups and participation

  • HE institutions including students, teachers and other staff.
  • Organisations or institutions involved with, working in or having vested interests in the area of higher education.

An application to the programme must be submitted by a higher education institution from one of the participating countries acting as co-ordinator for a network or a project partnership. Applicants are encouraged to involve several of the above mentioned target groups as partners or participants.


Programme activities

The programme may support mobility, network and projects, including:

  • Joint Study Programmes
  • Intensive courses
  • Student mobility
  • Teacher mobility
  • Support for networks and network activities
  • Development projects in higher education, including curriculum development projects
