EuroSkills 2023

This year, the eighth international contest for the mastery of young professionals, EuroSkills 2023, will take place in Gdansk, Poland, from 5 September to 9 September. The Latvian team will be represented by nine young professionals in eight skills contests. Young people will also travel to Poland with a team of experts who will provide support and advice to new specialists, and will assess the performance of other competitors.

Around 600 participants from 32 European countries will participate in the EuroSkills 2023 contest. Participants will demonstrate their knowledge and capacity in 43 skills contests taking place in the AMBEREXPO Gdańsk hall. The competition will allow the performance of the competition to be assessed in different professional sectors, such Construction and Building Technology, Creative Arts and Fashion, Information and Communication Technology, Manufacturing and Engineering Technology, Transportation and Logistics, Service Industry and Host Presentation Skills. The competition is organised by WorldSkills Europe, in cooperation with WorldSkills Poland. Latvia's participation in the competition EuroSkills 2023 is ensured by the State Education Development Agency.
