There were 73 project applications submitted for total sum of 37 740 830 EUR. After the evaluation of formal, quality and financial criteria the Programme committee recommended to the Agency 11 projects for co-finacing from the Norway Grants’ within the available 4 435 556 EUR for programme in Latvia. The research projects are approved in the following thematic areas - Social Sciences and Humanities and Health, including aspects of pharmaceuticals, biomedicine and prevention.
The projects are approved as follows:
- Agriculture University of Latvia – 1 Project;
- University of Latvia – 4 Projects;
- Latvian Biomedical Research and Study centre – 2 projects;
- Latvian institute of Organic Synthesis – 1 project;
- Latvian Academy of Sport Education – 1 project;
- Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, University of Latvia – 1 project;
- Riga Teacher Training and Educational Management Academy – 1 project.
