The International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG), in partnership with the State Education Development Agency (SEDA), is holding their annual international conference on October 20-22 in Riga, Latvia, to highlight the importance of guidance in economic development as well as the development of the field of career guidance in general.
During the three days of the conference, career professionals will have the opportunity to broaden their horizons, look at ideas and methods to improve their work, and be inspired by industry developments. The conference will feature leading career guidance experts from around the world. The preliminary conference program can be viewed here. The working language of the conference is English, with simultaneous translation of keynote speakers.
The conference is open to guidance professionals - career guidance counsellors from different disciplines, organizational psychologists, HR professionals, coaches, policy makers, researchers, academics and other professionals. Please register for the conference by filling out the online registration form. Early registration with a reduced conference fee is open until 31 March of this year. In order to present a paper, poster, or a workshop, participants must submit their application by April 15th, according to submission instructions. The IAEVG brings together guidance professionals from around the world. The cooperation partner of the Association in Latvia is SEDA, which this year has earned the right to organize the annual international conference with the support of the Euroguidance program and the Latvian Association for Career Development Support.
