Transnational thematic seminar Erasmus+ developing e-skills for jobs

On March 23, 2017 the Latvian National agency for Erasmus+ is organising a transnational thematic seminar “Erasmus+ developing e-skills for jobs”. The seminar is organised within transnational cooperation activities between Erasmus+ National agencies and will contribute to the range of events in Latvia within Get Online Week 2017 and is linked to the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus+ programme.

Thematic seminar will be held in Latvian and English languages as well interpretation will be provided.

Seminar is aiming to bring the awareness about the development of e-skills necessary for employment. Best practices and opportunities to tackle the lack of digital skills in Europe will be shared, highlighting innovative projects and initiatives for the e-skills development. Also input from the e-skills experts will be given to rise discussions and exchange of experience through networking that could lead to new projects in the field.

Target group:
Representatives and education professionals from the school and vocational education and training sector, policy makers, stakeholders, industry representatives who are interested in the related theme and in sharing their expertise and experience.

The seminar plans to involve in total 90 participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Finland and Croatia.
